Klas BROGREN
brogren@shippax.se
Always loyal to his local football team in Halmstad, Klas is first and foremost dedicated to passenger shipping as a lifelong hobby. Not really understanding the border line of a hobby, it became his profession when, in 1977, his first assignment was for a project work with Tor Line in Gothenburg. It was followed by five years with shipbrokers in Stockholm where he was active in S&P and chartering, specialising in passenger shipping. In 1981, he returned to his hometown to become a partner in Marine Trading which for many years held the management contract for Prince of Fundy Cruises, a cruise ferry service between Maine, USA - Nova Scotia, Canada. As the need of market information expanded, he developed this in his own company Plus 2 Ferryconsultation AB, which later registered ShipPax Information as its marketing name. Coinciding with his 50th birthday next summer, Cruise & Ferry INFO will turn 40, ShipPax GUIDE 30 and ShipPax DESIGNS 25 … so prepare for some open reception!
